We had a ton of fun sledding over the Christmas break.
We have been living in Charlottesville, Virginia for the past two and a half years while Scott attends medical school at the University of Virginia. Scott is usually studying, so Brighton and I have become pretty creative on keeping ourselves busy. As you all know, I was pretty upset when we found out that we were moving because we have the most amazing family and friends a person could ask for. Its taken a little while to get use to, but we love it thanks to very special friends. Life on the east coast is very different but fun. It is so weird to drive only a couple of hours and pass through several states. It is definitely georgous out here and there is plenty to do. We have gone up to Manhatten several times to visit Scott's brother and we go to D.C. and Richmond quite a bit too. It's also nice because the beach is only an hour and a half away. The history out here is amazing and the campus is beautiful, it was designed by Thomas Jefferson. For the most part eveything in this town is redbrick, black shutters and white columns, very colonial style. As you all know, Brighton and I travel back to Utah every six weeks to work for a few days. It is so great and we are loving it. So for now we get the best of both worlds.

LIttle Princess
Halloween
Halloween in Virginia is the coolest thing ever. There is this tradition where everyone gathers to the Lawn, which is this huge grassy area surrounded by honors housing. I guess one of the deals to live there is that you have to be home for halloween so all the the kids trick or treat. It is so cute to see all the little kids in there costumes. These are just a few of the pictures we took . It took Brighton a minute to understand what we were doing, but after a few minutes she realized. We had to empty her bucket three times because we got so much candy.
Yorktown
Yorktown
Scott's dad and stepmom came to visit and we went down to Yorktown for the day. It really is one of the cutest places I have ever been. It sits on the York River that flows into the Chesapeake Bay. It was so much fun.

wahoo!! we are so excited for you guys to have another one! when will you find out what you are having? i'm sorry to hear that you have been sick. i hope it is not as bad as the last time. it's funny how we forget, well kind of, how it feels to be pregnant. our little babies will only be three months apart. how fun will that be. i hope you have a boy this time. but either way you guys will have a cute baby! love you guys.

I can't believe you are that far along...and you haven't called...you little brat ;) I would call you what you called me when you found out so late that I was pregnant. However, I don't think that it's blog appropriate.
