We have been living in Charlottesville, Virginia for the past two and a half years while Scott attends medical school at the University of Virginia. Scott is usually studying, so Brighton and I have become pretty creative on keeping ourselves busy. As you all know, I was pretty upset when we found out that we were moving because we have the most amazing family and friends a person could ask for. Its taken a little while to get use to, but we love it thanks to very special friends. Life on the east coast is very different but fun. It is so weird to drive only a couple of hours and pass through several states. It is definitely georgous out here and there is plenty to do. We have gone up to Manhatten several times to visit Scott's brother and we go to D.C. and Richmond quite a bit too. It's also nice because the beach is only an hour and a half away. The history out here is amazing and the campus is beautiful, it was designed by Thomas Jefferson. For the most part eveything in this town is redbrick, black shutters and white columns, very colonial style. As you all know, Brighton and I travel back to Utah every six weeks to work for a few days. It is so great and we are loving it. So for now we get the best of both worlds.

Christmas and New Year's

Ok its an understatement to say that we had a blast in Utah over Christmas break. I know I have said this before but we really do have the best family and friends a person could ask for. It is so hard to return back to reality when you are having this much fun. These are just a few of the hundreds of pictures we took over this vacation.

Panache girls

These are just some of my darling friends at our Panache christmas party. I don't know how it happened but I work with about twenty six of the cutest, nicest girls ever. I am so lucky to have these people in my life. Each person has something so great and different that they add to the salon, which is why it is the best salon ever. I am so greatful that they keep putting up with me coming back every six weeks.

Amazing

Brighton and Scott had a great time playing in the snow. Ok maybe Scott enjoyed himself a little more. He built these with a rubbermaid container lid, a tupperware bowl and a butter knife. Well if med school doesn't work out I guess he can always go into ice sculpting. Ha ha

Family Pictures on UVa Campus

We spent thanksgiving in Virginia this year. We were a little sad that we weren't going anywhere but it ended up being really fun. About ten couples got together and had thanksgiving in a banquet room at the Law school. There was so much good food and the kids had a blast playing together. We spent the evening hanging out and playing games. We are so lucky to have such good friends
